Good Afternoon. I am looking for a suitable powerup that will allow me to create a custom job, plug in a completion date and the powerup will back populate the milestone dates accordingly. Example. If I say 6/1/2020 is the completion date, it knows to put 5/25/2020 - Review DAte
5/22/2020 - Compile all information.
5/10/2020 - Begin production.
etc...
I want to create a template that can be used for all jobs going forward.
NOTE: I am very new to Trello!
Thank you All!!!!!
Brian
@Brian Rosenblum check out Placker, it's a really good project planning tool for Trello that does dependency and moves due dates and so on.
It might be more for project planning, rather than production, though.
I don't think you could back fill due dates on cards or checklist items relative to a date added to a card anymore, but something like this in Trellinator would do it:
https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/7650431ac540b0bb04fa05fd186fee90
What this does is, when a due date is added to a card, copy the Production checklist from a template card and then loop through each item and if it matches the pattern "X days TASKNAME" then create a card called TASKNAME, replace the checklist item text with a link to the card, link to the parent card from the created card and set due X days prior to the due date.
