After changing the login procedures, an active Trello account can no longer be accessed. How can it

Edel July 29, 2024

After switching the login system to Atlassian.com, an old, unused Trello account from 2013 suddenly appeared on my login email address, and I can no longer access my active Trello account from 2023. How can I get the 2023 account working again? Both accounts used the same email address.

Hello, Edel!

Welcome to the community.

There's no way to merge accounts currently. Can you check to see if you are not mistaken and if there are two accounts under two emails? Do you still have some boards in your browser history? You may find them bookmarked as well; if you can share them here, I can check for you if they aren't on another email account.

Kind regards

No, I was using the Trello account created in 2023 without knowing that there was already another Trello account, never used, associated with the same email address. During the mandatory migration by Atlassian, Atlassian chose to link the unused 2013 Trello account to the email address, completely ignoring the active 2023 account.

My request: Please delete the 2013 Trello account and assign the 2023 Trello account to the associated email address.
