I am VERY new to Trello and need some help.
I am looking for a way to add a logo/image to each individual board cover, so that it makes it easier for my staff to find the company board they need to work on. I have read from other posts that if an image is added to the cards, it's used as the cover for the board. I have tried this already and it has not added the image to the board cover. I have cleared my cache and tried again - still no image displaying.
What am I doing wrong?
Hi Samantha,
Marta here, from Trello support.
Just so we're on the same page, I'd like to be clear on the fact that boards and cards are different things in Trello. Boards are the space where you keep your cards together—they're like a folder to your cards.
You can add images both to cards and boards. The images you add to cards will appear on the card cover. The images you add to the boards will appear as the board background.
If you have a Business Class team, you'll be able to upload your customized backgrounds to your boards.
Here's an article with more information changing board backgrounds: on http://help.trello.com/article/818-changing-board-backgrounds
Here you'll find more info on adding attachments and pictures to cards: http://help.trello.com/article/769-adding-attachments-to-cards
I hope that helps!
