On the Trello on ipad when I add a card (either just the title, or a further description too) the card is invisible in the column. To see it I need to click on the button for the Filters, then close the Filters. Or, I can close the Board and then re-open it.
This does not happen on either my Mac or my iPhone.
My iPad is an iPad Air 2, running IOS 15.8
Any thoughts?
Hi there,
Thanks for raising this question!
Hmm, I can't reproduce the issue you're describing on my device as the cards are visible right after they're created. But I also use a more updated version of iPadOS - 17.1.1.
I'd suggest you try following the troubleshooting instructions from this article first: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/troubleshooting-for-the-ios-app/
If this doesn't help, updating the iPadOS version might be a good idea.
If the issue persists afterward, could I ask you to create a ticket through https://trello.com/contact? This gives us access to a few more tools to help investigate, and we can discuss information that can't be shared in the community.

Thanks for the reply. I tried all those steps, but no change.
Though there was one added wrinkle : after I logged out and in again, and opened my Board, only a few cards were visible - the ones I’d added from my Mac weeks ago, none of the ones I’d added from the iPad. I added one more, which was then invisible (like before). Then I did the ‘Turn on filters, turn off again’ trick and hey presto, all the cards were there.
(My Mac is being repaired so I cant test with it —and its because of not having my Mac that I’m using my iPad so much….).
My iPad is old and it cant be upgraded to IOS 17.
Clearly its something to do with filters and settings on new cards.

Hey,
Sorry to hear the steps in the article didn't help!
I'm afraid we won't be able to troubleshoot much further as there might be issues because of the outdated iPadOS version and the fact that I can't reproduce it on my device.
As mentioned on the app page itself - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trello-organize-anything/id461504587 - the app requires iPadOS 16.0 or later in order to perform correctly.
But I'll keep an eye on the reports we receive in case there's a more widespread issue and will update this thread then.
In the meantime, I'd suggest you try using Trello in a browser on your iPad in case the issue isn't reproducible there.
I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help here 😕

I have been having the same problem recently. When I open up the App, everything is visible but if I open a card and get back to the board view, some cards are no longer visible. I have one card I use a lot, that always vanishes in this way, so which cards disappear seems to be somewhat consistent.
I tried out the tip mentioned above and enabling/disabling filters makes the cards reappear again. So that's a workaround that is more comfortable than quitting the app and closing it full before opening it again just to access that one card.
My Trello app is up to date (2023.10.3 (20230728.150159)) on an iPhone (12 mini running iOS 15.6.1)

Hi Democritus,
Thanks for resurfacing this thread!
I've just checked if there are any recent similar reports, but it doesn't look like this is a widespread issue. Sadly, I still can't reproduce this issue, however, I'm using iOS version 17.2.1.
On iPhone, we also suggest using the Trello app on iOS 16.0 or later. Is there any chance you can update your iOS to the latest version to check if the issue reproduces then?
