/1/search custom field?

Hi,

I am currently using the /1/search Endpoint to search the Description field on Cards, however i need to be able to search in a single CustomField aswell, how can i achieve this?

I cant find any explanation on how the query parameter should be.

As custom fields are of key-value structure of “a type” I don’t think you can search on CF with that API as CF will be specific to each board depending on what user requirements. In many of my programs involving CF I would have to fetch and loop through each to find the CFs on a card and get the value and use it in my application. 
A work around for an app was to append CF field values on card name to allow for search.
