Duplicated board into new workspace but...

Hi all,

I have just duplicated a board and moved it to a new workspace then archived the old board (list by list). The problem is I have lost all of the comments on the duplicated board and I cant seem to now find the old cards with comments I archive. I should add here the reason for duplicating the board was due to someone leaving the company and the board being on their workspace, which I cannot delete?

Hi Chris,

Currently we don't have a way to copy comments over when you copy a board. The workaround that we offer would be to move each list over from the old board to the new board. The comments and card history will be maintained when you move a list to a new board. I realise you've already archived those lists, so you can un-archive the lists before moving them over to the new board. Does this work as an option for you?

I'll make sure to note down your feedback that you'd like to be able to retain comments when copying boards as well.
