There’s a new (and pretty exciting) reason to put #CelebrateTeams on your to-do list: The Trello Team Toolkit is here!

It’s the best of everything we’ve learned about collaborative teamwork at Trello in one handy (and free) collection. The kit contains five boards to tackle any type of teamwork that do on the daily:

• All the projects your team needs to plan
• A way to put an end to time-wasting meetings
• Setting big goals (and reaching them)
• Those team resources and internal FAQs that need organizing
• A fun, collaborative planner for your next office party!

We want to give all teams something to celebrate this year, so we hope you copy the boards into your Trello team and give them a try.

Tips/ideas for better teamwork? Over-communicate, and document communication to make it easy to reference. I truly think this is the solution that solves everything else, and a tool can only help teams be more productive and work together better if it does that. Which Trello does! And does it so wonderfully. 

Being able to communicate about the status of something at anytime and have notes and everything documented makes it so much easier to work on something because you have all the information you need right in front of you and if you have a question, it's so easy to ask more. 

I think another critical aspect of good teamwork - assume positive intent. Never assume that someone is out to get you or intentially slacking on a project, or that they're not doing their best on a project. Even if there is no positive intent, by assuming it, you'll usually feel better about your part of the project and be in a better spot to handle any issues.
