What's New

PRODUCT

A Whole New Trello
After 10 years of productivity and project management, we debuted our biggest rollout of new features across boards, lists, and cards. Read all the updates here .

Featuring New Views
Go beyond the board and visualize your projects in new ways: as a dashboard, timeline, table, and calendar. With these new views, your teams can organize their work in ways that work best for them. Learn more in our on-demand 20 minute webinar here on YouTube.

Plus New Card Types
Trello now offers three new types of cards: link cards, board cards, and mirror cards.

  • Link cards: simply paste a URL link as a card's title and a card will auto-generate previews from over 30 external tools like YouTube, Instagram, Dropbox, Stripe, Salesforce, InVision, Google Drive, and more.
  • Board cards: paste a URL link of a Trello board as a card's title and it will automatically preview a link to your other boards, connecting projects across Trello.
  • Mirror cards: coming in the next few months, mirror cards allow you to clone one card to appear across multiple boards, removing manual copying.

Improved Board Navigation
Introducing a new sidebar navigation in Trello. We’re adding this sidebar to make it easier for you to find and manage your boards and views within your workspace. Learn how it works here .

Plus Some Upgrades To Butler
In our January Newsletter, we mentioned that Butler automation is now available within boards, no longer just in the "show menu" tab. You can now access Butler directly from the back of any card to create card buttons. We've also introduced Butler commands to the list menu as well. Give them a try today!

And Coming Soon: Teams Become Workspaces
We recently rolled out a change so that new Trello users must sign up within a team and all newly created boards must also live within a team. Moving forward "teams" will now be known as "workspaces". Workspaces are here to help Trello users organize boards more efficiently and offer visibility across boards. To learn more about workspaces, visit our help doc here .
