Why can't I sign up for training with my Atlassian ID

I have 2 separate JIRA licenses under different email addresses but could use neither of them to sign up for training. Instead I had to create a new Atlassian ID to even be able to sign in to "Training" in order to sign up for training.

I thought "Atlassian ID" meant the Atlassian ID used when purchasing a JIRA license.

Can someone please explain this?

Hi Jim, Thanks for letting us know the trouble you've had. Yes, your AtlassianID should also work for signing up for training at training.atlassian.com  I'll take a look at this for you.  Sometimes we've found that when there are multiple email addresses associated to an AtlassianID, we have to merge them into a single Training account. I'll check now, but if you don't mind, please email training@atlassian.com to give us the email preference you'd like to use in our Training Portal. Thanks so much! Cheers ~ Amanda
