Hi,
A short question regarding ACP-420 exam (however, similar question can 'apply' to other ACA or ACP exams) - how often are questions & answers updated in the actual exams?
Why I'm asking this?
Mostly due to often product updates that have a GA release. For example, most recently, ability to connect multiple support email addresses to a service project.
If you then take a look at sample questions, answer for question 420.3.4 isn't correct.
So, I was just wondering what to expect here and what 'date' should I be looking at when answering exam questions.
Cheers,
Tom
Hi there @Tomislav Tobijas _Koios_ - thanks for your question. And thanks for jumping in to answer @Valerie Knapp. Good point about using the sample questions to become familiar with question format and style.
In general, our prep courses align with our exam questions, so what you are studying is what appears on the exam. We have a regular cadence to our maintenance activities that includes review of content vis-a-vis product changes as well as psychometric analysis that evalutes the performance of individual questions on each exam. Both of these help us to keep the questions valid and fresh.
Of course, Cloud changes occur weekly. Kudos to our hard-working product teams! But that means there is a chance that what is in the courses/exams may not reflect the latest features you see in our products or read in the Cloud blog & announcements. Especially a very recent change, like you pointed out.
So when you find discrepancies in course or exam prep material, please enter a support ticket so we can remedy it more quickly. Additionally, you can enter comments about particular a exam question as you are taking an exam that can alert us to possible concerns. We review those comments, as well.
Thanks for your question. And hey - may the force be with you as you study for the ACP-420! Best wishes to you.
Thanks @Joanna Thurmann for your comprehensive reply!

Hi @Joanna Thurmann ,
I've been on a couple of exams already but I wasn't aware that you take a look at the comments left on questions too. Thanks for the insight and for the detailed reply!
Also, thank you so much for your kind wishes! May the force be with you as well! 😄

Hi @Tomislav Tobijas _Koios_ , thanks for your question.
I will tag two people who can respond more accurately than I can to this - @Ree Kent and @Joanna Thurmann
Particularly in the cloud, things are changing often and quickly so I would tend to agree that it would be more fair for a question like this one not to appear in the exam.
For me, the benefit of using the practice questions is for you to familiarise yourself with the wording and style of the questions, watching out for key words or phrases like "never", "always", "except one", etc. So, while I agree it is misleading to have an "old" question in the prep course content, it's still useful to practice with Atlassian-written exam questions.
Good luck with your exam! I hope someone from Atlassian also replies to you here.
Cheers
