Have any of you used Jira to track sponsorship and advertisement sales? If so, what strategy did you use? We currently have projects for different ad accounts and use a kanban board to track the drafting, reviewing, approving, and publishing of ads.

Your approach works if you don't have many accounts. If you have 100s you may want to instead use a custom field that captures the account.
You can then use swimlanes or filters to clean up your boards visuals.
Jira work management also has templates for marketing and you could try that too if you have it in you environment. It works well since it has a roadmap and calendar views.
