How to limit the visibility for anonymous users in JIRA

Dear All,

Can anyone please suggest that how to limit the visibility for anonymous users who view the status of an issue in my company JIRA instance without login. In this case, we want that they can only see the status of the issue which they raised for our Public Issue Tracker but cannot see our internal descriptions and attachments.

Thanks!

Hi Anrurag,

the App "Share Your Jira" can share selected fields on a per Issue or Filter basis.

It's not yet available for Jira 8 but we are working on it.

You would change the Jira privileges so that anonymous users dont see any issues at all and provide them a Link to a share.

kind regards

Jens

Hi Anurag,

have you had a look at the documentation from Atlassian:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/allowing-anonymous-access-to-your-project-779172888.html

Of course this might not give you the flexibility you are looking for.

Cheers,
Dwight
