How my Private Bitbucket join Atlassian site

Tamás Soós November 21, 2019

Hello,

I have created a private (free) Bitbucket account. There is a private repo.
After that I'm created an Atlassian account  with the same private e-mail address, and there I can see Jira and Confluence in the Admin(https://admin.atlassian.com) -> Product access menu, but I can't see Bitbucket there. Jira and Confluence can be access with this link: https://SITENAME.atlassian.net/ But my Bitbucket url is : https://bitbucket.org/xxxxxx

I can't join any site from Bitbucket, I think my Atlassian site is not integrated/connected properly with my bitbucket.

How can I integrate them without losing any datas?
Or shall I clone my Bitbucket repo, and then delete my bitbucket account, and after that I should add bitbucket app throught Atlassian Admin? Is there any better way to do this?

Thank you,

Tom

Hello @Tamás Soós,

Thanks for reaching out, welcome to the Community!

If I identified your Bitbucket account correctly, I can see you haven't used it for years. There's also no email linked to that account – this is very likely why it hasn't been migrated to Atlassian ID (this happened in the last two years).

Please open a support ticket with us and specify your Atlassian ID and Bitbucket account so that we can guide you through the process of linking them properly. After that you'll see Bitbucket in the Admin app.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Daniil
