Unable to view/change "remaining estimate" field

In a Team-managed project

We would like to use "remaining estimate" field for story points instead of time.   It looked like in another discussion post that if a person had global access to board they would be able to see "estimation" tab and update this field to story points instead of time.   We do not see the estimation tab.

We use story points and not time on our project.   

What are my options?

Users with the Administrator role (or Administrator permissions) for the Team Managed project will be able to change the features used by the project. The Estimation feature applies only to Software projects, and is found under Project Settings > Features.

Note that setting this to Story Points does not enable you to use the Remaining Estimates filed for Story points. There is a separate field for setting the story points value for issues and it is named Story Point Estimate. The Remaining Estimate field applies only to time tracking.

If having the one Story Point Estimate field does not meet your needs, can you please provide more information about the problem you are trying to solve by trying to use the Remaining Estimate field for story points?
