Will time tracking be added to next-gen projects

We are very dependent on tracking our time on jira cards.

We are very eager to move to next-gen, but we need time tracking to do so. In other questions it is mentioned that this feature is on the roadmap, but I cannot find it.

Hi, guys FYI,

Atlassian rolled out Time Tracking for Next-gen projects.

Add the "Time tracking" field to an Issue Type in Next-gen Project settings.
Log time and Time remaining from the Issue View
Have logged time show up in the Worklogs

Please let me know if Time Estimate is available in Next Gen projects. I'm having a dog of a time trying to work out how to swap "story point estimate" to "hours".

Is this possible in Next Gen?

We also absolutely need time tracking to be able to use next-gen at all. no way to tell if we're on track or not without it!

This is absolutely ridiculous. An essential feature to track projects is not even in the roadmap? Now I know how seriously is Jira taking the next gen template projects...
