Hi all,
Looking for some help with email notifications for JIRA Cloud. I believe I have set all permissions correctly and have a notification scheme enabled correctly to alert me of all issue creation, updates, and comments made against all issues.
I am in the administrators JIRA group and we are not using a custom email address to send emails, just the default one with JIRA.
Problem is we are not receiving emails, Notification Helper is no help as it claims I am being notified on issue creation, updates and comments, but I am not receiving any emails.
Any pointers from others on things I can look at as to why JIRA is not sending any outgoing emails would be helpful.
Hi @Nathan Creswell,
this is a really silly question, but have you checked your spam folder? It could be that the sender email seems suspicious in the eyes of your email client or perhaps even the firewall.
Another silly idea is to check this page if you haven't: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/not-receiving-email-notifications-in-jira-cloud-779160705.html
Let me know if any of these help and if not, we'll keep thinking.
Hi @Krisztian Kovacs thanks for the article link. Nothing in my spam folder but all my teammates have also stopped receiving JIRA emails. So not sure where the issue is. Have looked at all the items in the article and can confirm outgoing mail is enabled and a valid notification scheme is applied.
