Got an error while trying to upload excel attachment in Jira issues

Hi @Yvonne YIN, and welcome to the community!

Jira does not have an option natively to restrict the filetypes, only a choice to either allow or block attachments.

Having said that, it seems to be a customized restriction imposed by the Administrators of your Jira site. For example, an app called Attachment Checker for JIRA adds this functionality to Jira Server. Indeed, there will be another that does the same for the cloud.
