Customize information to be shown in the backlog cards

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to customize what is being shown in the tickets shown in the backlog view of JIRA next-gen (SCRUM).

As a minimum it would be useful to have the option to show the version.

Even better if there was an option to select fields to be shown there (included from the list of custom fields). In particular I need the component to be shown in the card.

That the moment Customizing the cards on a next gen board is not possible, but it is in the works.  For some info on how to see what items are coming soon or recently released we have published This Roadmap Blog that can be sued to see all the most recent items on the list.

Then the following Feature request is the main story which highlights a list of sub-tasks which are all the features selected for the next-gen related improvements for an overarching view into the features and gives you the ability to vote to help influence the priority of roll out and give feedback on what you would like to see in the features as covered in the "Implementation of New Features Policy" :

The Next-gen template was initially designed for those users who felt overwhelmed by the complexity of Jira Classic template and requested a simpler option, straight to the point with fewer options of customization.

Today, we have changed that approach, looking to implement all the features of Classic projects in Next-gen, however, letting the customers decide if they want to implement it or not for Next-gen.

That being said, we are still implementing some features in Jira next-gen, including the ability to add fields to the board cards layout in backlog and board views as you need. The following feature request was created to track our development team progress:

- Ability to customize the fields shown on cards in next-gen projects (backlog + board)
