I want to copy all issues under a specific epic in a Jira software project to service desk incidents in another project on another atlassian tenant. Is this possible?
Hello Lasse,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
In order to move tickets from one site to another, it's necessary to export the issues to CSV and import it on the desired Jira site.
Go to Filters > Advanced search and filter all the issues that you need to move. Then click on Export > Export Excel (CSV).
After that, please follow the steps of the documentation below to import to the other site:
Regards,
Angélica
Hi @Angélica Luz , the problem with this that i discovered is that some information like attachments, comments, etc. is lost. Is there some method to copy the issues without loosing any data?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Comments and attachments will be imported, you need to map those fields while importing.
Create a CSV with the tickets you want to move and when importing map the fields. Since Attachments and Comments are system fields, they will have the same name on both sides.
If you want to test, export the tickets, and create a test project where you can import the CSV and check how it works and once you feel comfortable, import it on the production project.
