Can I link Classic jira tickets/epics into Next-Gen Jira boards?

I'm trying to create a road map to track a specific group of epics/tickets that are currently in classic jira project boards (but the roadmap feature is next-gen only) so i've created a next-gen project. Is there a way to share the tickets/epics from the classic jira projects into the next gen project as there's far too many to re-create!!!!

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Next-gen is independent of Classic projects. It means that the configurations are not shared and also on next-gen, it’s not possible to create filters to pull tickets from a specific JQL, so the board and roadmap will be restricted to tickets created in the project. 

With that said, currently, it’s not possible to add tickets from Classic projects to the next-gen Roadmap. 

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of the Roadmap for Classic projects:

• Enable Roadmap for "classic" project
