Accidently removed myself as an admin of my workspace

Carol T Jenkins January 22, 2023

Hi there,

I have managed to remove myself as an admin of one of my Workspace and I am now only able to access the boards available to members as a guest of the Workspace.

I have no idea how I have done this, I was testing how to invite members to a new board I had created with specific permissions.

Is there a way for me to correct this? Or do I need to start from scratch again?  And if I need to start from scratch again is there a way to close the original Workspace once I have created a new one?

Many thanks in advance for any support given.

Hi @Carol T Jenkins

Are you referring to Trello or Jira? Workspaces belong to trello. And this question is duplicated by this one https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Accidently-removed-myself-as-an-admin-of-my-workspace/qaq-p/2246852

Hi @Carol T Jenkins ,

Jira administrators (anyone with the Administer Jira global permission) always have access to your project's settings. Please contact your site/Jira admins. They can add you back .

Site admins can go to admin settings --> Projects
Select the project --> project settings --> Access. Any user can be added there
