We use the team calender for birthdays and stuff. A colleague of mine activated the reminders but doesn´t get any notifications. I am a little clueless what could have went wrong in anyway since you either just can activate or deactivate those notifications.

Does any one else had that problem and knows a way to fix it?

Hi Aaron,

Can you let me know what steps your colleague took to activate the reminders? Are they also watching the calendar and have permissions to the space?

  • Check Watch a Calendar for details on how to confirm if they are watching the calendar itself.

Hi Shannon,

he clicked on the three dots to activate watching the calender but didn´t get any reminders so far. Since it is a restricted work-space he has all the permissions he would needs. A colleague from the same team, with the same permissions, gets the notifications. Yesterday i thought i might be something he edited in his profile and restricted himself by not getting any notification emails. But that was an dead end. So at the moment im out of ideas.

Thank you for confirming that.

Could you tell me what version of Confluence you're on?

Have you been able to check the logs of Confluence to see if the notifications are going out?
