When viewing jira issues from confluence I get a permission issue

Based on changing the share filter in Jira  and checking permissions in both Jira and confluence. Is there anything else that needs setting as I am still getting an error message stating that the jira does not exist or the user does not have permission

hi Phil, do you have application link succesfully created between JIRA and Confluence instances?

I do, I see the Jira list but I am guessing that is because i am project lead, all the other users do not see the list just the error message. They are all  in Groups on Jira some of which i am a member of, I've set the permissions in confluence as individual users
