I'm running a group that does live homeschool classes for a wide range of ages, understandably kids make a lot of noise. I must have the ability to mute/unmute our participants as needed. Will this be an option?
Also, What is the Max number allowed inside a video meeting?
So I'm confused, once I mute them I won't be able to unmute them? These are children, some quite young. Currently, we are using Zoom, the kids raise their hands (either via the software, or just in the camera range) and get called on and then they are unmuted individually to answer. We have full control of the mute/unmute feature, no privacy concerns since parents have logged them into these classes.
If they mute themselves the privacy issue seems valid, but If I (or one of our teachers) mute them for class control we'd need the ability to unmute as well. And to be honest, sometimes we have a child playing with controls who mute themselves and don't know what they did, having this mute control is vital to our needs.
If WE mute them, can we unmute them?
Perhaps different levels of mute could be built in? Option Controls on their side where they can set whether they can/cant be unmuted by the moderator.
