The Stride app will not install on my Chromebook - will this be available in future releases?

The HipChat app installed on my Chromebook while the Stride app says incompatible.....are there plans to support Chromebooks?

Hi Dan,

As far as I know, Chromebooks don't run native apps, only web apps. Is is possible that you installed the HipChat web client as a Chrome OS app?

You can do the same thing for Stride - just use the stride website https://app.stride.com instead of trying to download the native app!

If that's not what you're asking about, let me know.

To be clear - with HipChat, I installed the android app (mobile) on my chromebook and it works - with Stride - the Google App store says the Stride app in incompatible - I have a new (latest version) chromebook
