When running the Stride client from behind a proxy it does not connect. Error message only shows:

"Something slipped up. If it keeps happening, reach out to Support, and we'll get right on it."

The File -> Settings menu does not open anything. I thought there would be a possibility to setup the proxy settings.

(Btw, Help -> About Stride doesn't doe anything either.)

Other applications work fine, reading the Internet proxy settings from Windows.

The log file shows these entries:

2017-12-12 07:49:45 - warn: [Rest - Client] 0 encountered hitting https://chat-client-api.atlassian.io/me - 3 attempts - will not retry RestError: Request failed
2017-12-12 07:49:48 - warn: [Rest - Client] 0 encountered hitting https://atlassianstride.statuspage.io/api/v2/incidents/unresolved.json - 3 attempts - will not retry RestError: Request failed

However, going to these two URLs manually in a browser works fine.

Does anybody have the same problems with the client?

How to fix it?
