Stride Custom Shell Script Bot - Messaging : Color & Labeling

We have created an custom bot (Shell Script) that was integrated into Hip chat for monitoring purpose. Custom bot will notify every body using @AlL in specific rooms.

We were able to format these messages that we were posting ( Color , Labels, cards etc )

We are not able to do the same in Stride.

1. Color - Here is the code we are using and not sure what is wrong with this

curl -X POST -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \

-H 'Authorization: Bearer <<KEY>>' \ -d "{\"body\":{\"version\":1,\"type\":\"doc\",\"content\":[{\"type\":\"paragraph\",\"content\":[{\"type\":\"text\",\"text\":\"TEST_MESSAGE\", \"marks\": [{\"type\":\"textColor\",\"attrs\":{\"color\": \" \#97a0af \"}}]},{\"type\":\"mention\",\"attrs\":{\"id\":\"all\",\"text\":\"@all\",\"accessLevel\":\"CONTAINER\",\"userType\":\"SPECIAL\"}}]}]}}" \ --url '<<URL>>'

2. Labels/Card -  Not sure how to do it.

Here is the message formatting we were taking advantage of in Hip Chat

Any help or leads are appreciated

Hi @Rajesh Menon

Looks like the value for "color" has spaces before and after it and ADF is picky about that.

I removed the spaces and tested it in the document viewer and it seems to work.

Here's the working payload:

    "version": 1,
    "type": "doc",
"content": [
"type": "paragraph",
"content": [
"type": "text",
"text": "TEST_MESSAGE",
"marks": [
"type": "textColor",
"attrs": {
"color": "#97a0af"
"type": "mention",
"attrs": {
"id": "all",
"text": "@all",
"accessLevel": "CONTAINER",
"userType": "SPECIAL"

 You can test it in the doc viewer here:

For information on creating cards, tak a look here:

Hope this helps!
