New Rooms in Stride 'trial' - will the data / comms be lost or deleted?

We currently use HipChat - but it's not well used. I've created a few new Rooms in Stride and plan to share it with a few people to get the ball rolling. I know they'll enjoy Stride as its very similar to a well liked 'competitor tool'.

That said - I'm anxious as we'll loose the data / comms thread once we're ported to the GA release? Is that correct? or will the 'port' create a delta and hence keep our new rooms?
