Migrated to Stride from Hipchat - trying to reactivate a user

We moved over to Stride and now need to reactivate a user who was deactivated before the migration.

Hi, Benjamin.

I would like to understand the question that you have here better. Since you mentioned that you moved over to Stride, can you please confirm if you were using HipChat Cloud / HipChat Server or Data Center? If you are using HipChat Server / Data Center, do you use LDAP / AD / external directory for user authentication?

The reason why I wanted to check on this is to verify if the account deactivation was done from HipChat level locally or rather from the external directory instead. Thanks.
