How to get a list of stride users?

Deleted user August 6, 2018

Hi,

I am new to stride API, so i dunno if it's a silly question. The thing is am building an app where i'm calling the GET of /site/{cloudId}/conversation/{conversationId}/message(HAVING INSTALLED AN APP IN THAT CONVERSATION) to receive a chat log, with that being done, i also wanted to attach the username to each one of those texts, but am only getting the senderID but not the senderName anywhere in the response, Is there any api call to get a map of senderID and senderName?, I also referred the stride documentation but i could not able to find a rest call to get a list of users.

Hi Farooque,

At this moment, we don't have an API to return a list of Stride users. As a workaround, an app can go through all the rooms and GET the participants for each room.

We appreciate your feedback!
