Right now, we use Zoom for video conferencing because it has a conference room capability. The zoom app runs on a computer attached to the room's TV, and then there is a companion ipad app allowing us to control the meeting. Are any such features planned for Stride?
Hi Andrew,
Right now, Stride Meetings has quite a few conferencing capabilities including:
Video and voice calling on desktop and mobile
Screen sharing
Remote desktop control
The ability to dial-in and dial out to telephone numbers
Shareable meeting URLs
Calendar integration
We plan on continuing to expand our conferencing features in the future, and are exploring integration with conferencing hardware.
Thanks!
@lauren will you also be considering meeting recordings? For my team, which is primarily remote based, this is very valuable to make sure everyone that did not attend receives an opportunity to get the same presentation that everyone else did, voice and screen (usually an mp4 file).
Who ever the meeting host is would record the meeting and it would be stored on their machine locally, so there wouldn't be any concern with hogging up Atlassian's storage (unless of course you wanted to monetize on that).

Hi again Matt! Yes, we've heard so much interest in meeting recording that we've added it to our roadmap. I can't tell you exactly when it will come out, but know that it's in the works!

You can call into a meeting, yes!

Do you see the invite options on the right side? You should see the option to call a phone number.
