Does stride require websockets to work?

Web sockets are blocked because the error messages we get are unhelpful and stride support is extremely slow to answer.

Hi Phil, 

Unfortunately, we do not support this today and do not currently have plans to add websocket support. 

If that changes we’ll make sure to let you know! ;)

I am actually pleased to know that web sockets are not required for the functioning of your app. Being backward compatible is useful to those of us who don't have this cutting edge technology available to us behind a firewall.
