We are just getting started with Stride, having come from Skype. One thing we are noticing that is a real problem is the lack of good notifications around meetings and calls. It seems that the majority of the time there is no notification that shows up when a meeting is started, especially if that meeting was initiated by a Guest either calling in or using the web link. When the notification does come through it seems as though it disappears too quickly to be useful and people tend to miss it.
Is there some kind of setting that can force notifications to be more prominent for meetings? When a meeting begins in Skype it takes over the mobile screen much like receiving a phone call. On desktop you get a notification window that must be explicitly surpressed. This UX seems to work better for our team as it puts the focus on the call.
Perhaps the desktop and mobile apps need to be improved in this area. If the mobile app showed a native-like incoming call screen that would be ideal. It shouldn't matter if you are set to away or available. This should always happen.
