Incident updates on slack with impacted components

Has anyone figured out a way to have the incident updates posted to Slack along with the impacted components (and subscribers)?

The current behavior of the Statuspage Team Notifications App is to notify the slack channel with the message (same as the activity log on status page tool) and does not include the information about which components were impacted and who would receive that information

Hey Bharathi, Alan from the Statuspage Support team here.

The Slack integration does not currently have the option of showing the affected components along with the incident updates, however, we do have an existing Feature Request for this.

While this request has not been chosen for implementation as of now, I have gone ahead and added this thread to it so it gains more traction and might be reviewed again.

One possible alternative could be the use of webhooks:

Statuspage Webhook notifications

Slack Incoming Webhooks

Statuspage feature requests are currently for internal access only, so If you ever need to reference the request to ask about its progress, the ID is STATUS-526.

I would recommend keeping an eye out on our community page for any news about feature updates: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Statuspage/ct-p/statuspage

In the below link you can read about our feature implementation policy if you like: https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/implementation-of-new-features-policy-201294576.html

Regards,

Alan Violada
