unable to uninstall sourcetree

Praveen Kumar June 4, 2015

Hey guys, im a newbie to source tree. I wasnt able to clone my repository onto my local system. I got an issue with the repository type : This is not a valid source path/url though i am able to access the repo in bitbucket. I thought reinstalling source tree might help. But im unable to unistall Source Tree itself. Kindly suggest a fix. Thanks. Regards.

The most obvious cause of the error is that the URL you're putting into SourceTree is wrong. I'm going to assume you've already checked that.

The next most common (but possibly LEAST obvious) cause of that error is if SourceTree has somehow been installed without installing Git. Go to Tools > Options > Git (might be slightly different on Mac), and examine the "Git Version" box to see if you can figure out what's wrong.
