So, you're rolling along, you've got all your stuff staged for commit, just entered the commit message and...have to grab the stupid mouse to go down and click the Commit button.

Please make Cmd-C or Ctrl-C or Option-C click the Commit button.

Cmd-C is standard Mac behaviour i.e. Cmd-? usually clicks the ? button.

Yes, as Andy mentioned, you would have to log a feature request at https://jira.atlassian.com/. You would have to first create an account there to be able to create a feature request, though.
