sourcetree in mac doesnt start?

sourcetree doesnt start keeps giving a messgae to upgrade t0 2.5.1+ even when i am using 2.5.2 or 2.5.3

From all reports we've gathered that alert is typically shown on managed machines when the network adminstrator has set a policy that's not properly detecting the versions of SourceTree.

We've not encountered or heard about this before. What OS are you on? What happens if you delete the app and download the latest version from our website?

I am on MacOS Sierra v - 10.12.5

I have tried to download the app from website but still gives the same error.
