i enabled 2 factor authentication on bit bucket
i added  a ssh key
put the ssh key in the sourcetree settings

edited my Bitbucket account to ssh in the  hosted repositories screen

after doing this i get a login failed on my screen with the error message  "forbidden"

Hi,

Yes - Sourcetree currently does not support 2fa.

Hi,

Bitbucket Cloud now supports app specific passwords. You can configure a specific password for SourceTree in the Security section of your Bitbucket settings. At the moment, we do not support native 2FA in SourceTree.

Thank you.
