sourcetree does not start anymore

Jan Eggers September 19, 2017

hi there my sourcetree doesnt start anymore. i upgraded to 2.3.1 and now it doesnt start. version app-2.1.11 seems to work just fine. i uninstalled and reinstalled but the issue persists.

looking at the log it looks like a bug, trying to show notification before mainwindow is opened.

here is the log:

i installed the old version again and it gives me a warning about invalid dictionaries if i delete them i can install the update afterwards and it starts.

so my issue is fixed but there is a nullpointer exception in startup checks
