Why new SourceTree become more ugly than old version?

I wonder why a beautiful software need upgrade to ugly version, is this by design?

This question is far too vague to be useful to anybody. "Beautiful" and "Ugly" are subjective descriptions. Obviously the designers like the new look better. If you have a specific, concrete request or question, you might get some positive attention. The current question is just whining.
