Why is everything since release 2.1 so slow?

Since I've upgrated to the version 2.1 of sourcetree, everything is very very slow. And I'm not the only person who struggles with this problem. All my friends, whom I've asked, have the same problem as me. I've now upgrated  to the latest version 2.1.2.5 and it's even worse than before. And there is also another problem: Sometimes the uncommited files disappear and I have to refresh sourcetree, to see them.

Hi Nima, the change to 2.x made SourceTree faster for the majority of our users, however, we found out there's a small percentage for whom this hasn't been the case and their performance has been degraded when compared to the previous version. We're trying to identify why this is hapenning and are tracking this cases at SRCTREEWIN-7374. You can comment there and wath the ticket to be notified of any updates.
