Why is Sourcetree reporting "Not a valid path" and "Not a valid URL" (Windows)

I have cloned this repo:

https://MartinGregory@bitbucket.org/acumendata/caaps_system.git

and have done some manual work in it (using git).

I went to open the working copy with Sourcetree (the root folder with the .git file in it) and Sourcetree says "not a valid path".

So I decided to make a new clone: I put the above URL into sourcetree, and it says "Not a valid URL". I tried with and without the username.

Help?

with no joy
