Why does Sourcetree always forget my settings?

Almost every third or fourth time when I want to create a PR from within Sourcetree i get this error:

When I open settings it does have settings configured:

 

So what I need to do to fix this is change Host Type to none, then back to Bitbucket and enter my username.

Why can't sourcetree remember this?

Hello! This is currently a bug on our end, and is pretty tricky to reproduce in our debug environment. There's currently an attempt to fix this in the 2.5.5 update that's currently rolling out.

There is a known bug about the occasional resetting of repository configurations. We've fixed it in the 2.5.x release which is currently in the process of being rolled out to users (50% as of today.)
