I would like to understand the method connecting Bitbucket server in sourcetree(using http or ssh or REST API...)
I've enabled Sourcetree->Tools->Options->"Check default remotes for updates every 10 minutes". I'm getting the working copy updates.
Please clarify and provide if any architecture available for sourcetree.
Check default remotes for updates every 10 minutes
This is a bit misleading. It doesn't actually ping Bitbucket Server, it actually just runs some git commands:
git fetch origin (get new remote branches)
git branch -vv (get the ahead and behind count for branches)
Will it record the access logs in Bitbucket server?
I'm not sure -- Bitbucket Server might log git commands but that's something you'll want to ask the admin of your server
Could you let me know, where we can get the trace of those activities? Since I did not found any traces in the Bitbucket server.
