Updated to SourceTree 1.8.2.11 and now the internal diff doesn't work.

Neil Rosenthal March 9, 2016

Since updating to SourceTree v1.8.2.11 the internall diff no longer works.  Anyone else have this issue and found a solution?

The 1.8 series of SourceTree was accompanied by upgraded embedded git. It may be that the version of git you have installed on your system isn't completely compatible with 1.8.x.

System Git - but it doesn't matter now.  I rolled back to my previous version (1.7) which is all I need for my one-man-shop. I disabled automatic update checking since v1.7 works fine and I have no need to upgrade at this time.

Are you using "System" or "Embedded" Git?
