Hi Eric, are you using the Mac or the Windows version?

To perform a clean uninstall, follow the steps:

Windows

  1. Wipe Sourcetree preferences
  2. Uninstall Sourcetree (if it shows on the App&Features list)
  3. Backup then delete the directory below before proceeding with next step:
    1. Navigate to C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local and delete Sourcetree & Sourcetree-Settings folder
    2. Navigate to C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Atlassian and delete all Sourcetree Files/ folder.

Mac

  1. Wipe SourceTree preferences
  2. Uninstall SourceTree (if it shows on the App&Features list)
  3. Delete the directory ~/Library/Application Support/SourceTree.

Let us know if you were able to uninstall it now. If not let us know Sourcetree and OS version so we can continue helping you.

Cheers,

Ana
