Suddenly when I try to push today I am getting the error "fatal: Unable to find remote helper for 'https'".

Also half of the icons in the toolbar are missing.

git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false -c credential.helper=sourcetree push -v --tags bitbucket master:master placeholder-pages:placeholder-pages
Pushing to https://thinsoldier@bitbucket.org/thinsoldier/test.git
fatal: Unable to find remote helper for 'https'
Completed with errors, see above

Possible source of problem :
I hate the new logo so I have a habit of opening the info window of sourcetree.app and pasting in a .png of the old shiny logo.

I replaced the logo the same day as whenever was the last update to sourcetree and did not have any problems until November 6th.

Logging out did not fix it. Rebooting did not fix it.

Deleting sourcetree.app and downloading a fresh copy fixed it.

There are too many places to post problems.

jira. , answers. , support. , etc.

I was in the middle of trying to find where the hell I posted this message when I got an e-mail from answers.atlassian that gave me the correct link.

Is there any way you could show us ALL the posts we've made across ALL the many *.atlassian.com bug reporting/support sites in a single list on our profile page of all the sites?

Seems like manipulating the .app file could certainly cause some instability in the program. jira is for bugs and feature requests answers is for community support & questions support is for non-bug issues that need answered by Atlassian This question would be best for Support if you want to confirm that your icon switching is/isn't the cause, but fine for Answers if you just wanted some help getting a fix.

How about some additional info: Did you try to reboot? If that doesn't help, what changed? Did you update SourceTree? Your OS? Install or uninstall other software? Are you on Mac or Windows?
