Un-commit large file that generates error upon push

I'm new to Git and am not a developer, but I've recently started using Sourcetree and Git for version control. I accidentally committed a new file that exceeds 100MB. Now every time I try to push, I get an error message:

myfilename.mp4 exceeds GitHub's file size limit of 100.00MB. 

I don't mind that I can't push that change to the repo, but there are other changes I do need to push and this error is preventing me from doing so. I want to go back as if I never committed the large file to the repo, but still commit all my other changes. Is it possible to do this?

Hi Raina! If you have several commits and you only want to remove one of them, then a rebase interactive will help you. You can learn more about it at Interactive rebase Sourcetree .
