Having installed SourceTree 2.0.5.2 (2.0.5.2) my understanding was that I would be able to connect to a Kiln remote repository. Switching to Remote tab, and pressing the "Connect a remote account" button, I see only 3 options, BitBucket, GitHub and Stash. What am I missing?

Simply type the URL to your repository into the Source Path/URL box. The 3 options you see listed are for trying to set up a repo with "Advanced Integration", which offers a few features outside of straight git/hg support.
