Sourcetree crashes on opening the "internal diff" of an XML document (extension dbgdt) Edited

The file is ~102 kB in size and ALWAYS crashes sourcetree if it is selected. How can I ignore this file, I need it in the repository because it contains debugger desktop information that I do not want to have to recreate each time.

I have submitted multiple crash reports on this very issue.

Note: The workaround of setting max files for diff to 0 does not allow using the external Diff Tool through the CTRL + D shortcut key. This is very disappointing and very cumbersome to have to keep restarting Sourcetree
